
In October 2018, the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta will once again be offering a course leading to Master of Arts in Matrimonial Canon Law and Jurisprudence.
Offered every three years, this specialised inter-disciplinary programme presents an in-depth study of the canonical legislation, jurisprudence and procedure related to the institution of marriage, thereby enabling the participants to better carry out their respective pastoral ministries and forensic professions.
The course is spread over six semesters and entails two years of lectures and one year solely dedicated to research. It is offered on a part-time basis (evening) and covers the following modules:

The M.A. in Matrimonial Canon Law and Jurisprudence is recommended for lawyers, psychologists, counsellors, members of the clergy, family therapists, social workers and other professionals engaged in marriage-related services, particularly those working in Church Tribunals and Civil Courts.
